This project is about a new kind of tap that educates people about water use and helps its users to save water. The tap has a transparent cylinder that contains a certain amount of water. Once you open the tap – and the flow of water starts – the water level in the transparent cylinder starts to drop. Markings on the cylinder provide feedback on the amount of water used once you are done with washing your hands and have closed the tap. Users become aware of the amount of water used and can try to improve their water use next time they use the tap.
