The design is inspired by a local top ‘Lattoo’ used by millions of children in our country. The movement of a top is very interesting and unique. It not only revolves on its axis when fast, but also, freely oscillates side-ways as it slows down and finally comes to a halt. Children by nature are restless and even though we try to design seating for them, we end up removing the freedom that they so enjoy. This seat, instead of curbing, accentuates this basic instinct by carefully designing the boundaries of the seat. It uses an eco-friendly material (BIRCH PLY), very minimalistic produced through CNC cutting and polishing. The seat is flat-packed and is snap fit without any fasteners or glue.
