Maven is building a new type of healthcare company that puts women and modern families at the center. We’re a team of people from across industries and backgrounds with a shared sense of urgency for not only questioning, but changing, the status quo. We built Maven on the belief that healthcare is a necessity, not a luxury, and every woman and family deserves access to high-quality care. In-person, doctors spend 8 minutes or less with patients. Technology can improve our lives by providing an immediate, direct, and continuous line of communication between patients and providers. That means providing access to physical, emotional, and lifestyle care—for all people. Not just doctors, but nurse practitioners, therapists, LGBTQ-friendly practitioners, and more. Menstruation, contraception, fertility, postpartum depression, miscarriage—all remain taboo. Better healthcare brings women’s health out of the shadows and brings all of us closer to equality.
