The idea of Electric Bumper is inspired by manually charged flashlights. By applying the flashlight’s charging mechanism to speed bumps, we can make use of the weight given by cars passing through. Modular design makes three generators as a set of an Electric Bumper. Numbers of Electric Bumpers form a speed bump. If there are some breakdowns that need to be fixed, engineers can directly replace the malfunctioning one with functional one. The concept enables a consistent efficacy of power generation and provides an easy approach of maintenance.
