RAGAMUF
Ragamuf employes vulnerable Syrian refugee women residing in Turkey.
A stretchy Ragamuf chair rug cover fits to different shapes and sizes of chairs. It refresses the look of an old chair making recycling possible. Each piece is unique art - the maker designs the colors and figures of each rug. It is made by hand of knitted rag, which is produced from fabric surplus from the textile industry.
Ragamuf chair rugs are offered in two sizes. Small fits to armless chairs and big for armchairs. Because the rug is stretchy it fits different shapes and sizes of chairs. Ragamuf is available for every taste in mixed or plain colors.
Ragamuf was launched with an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign the 17th of January 2017. The products are sold online to keep prices reasonable so that more of the refugee women can be employed.
