Drawit, a Drawable User Interface
Drawit is a novel approach to allow users to design a user interface.
We live in a world of predefined digital interfaces that are becoming more and more connected. But what if you could design your own interface? This project is a novel approach using a drawable user interface. It explores the capabilities of drawing to interact with connected devices and how they empower users to define the functions of their systems based on their personal, local and often task-specifics needs. Drawit recognizes objects and allows you to customize the way you interact with them by drawing on a touch screen. Through Drawit, you can sketch on and off buttons, scrollers, and volume controls with your own hand, and associate different objects simply by drawing a line between them.
