The aerelight table lamp was designed by a team of designers and engineers from the University of Toronto who are eager to push the boundaries of OLED technology and redefine the future of lighting. Aerelight is the first OLED lamp that is accessible to the general consumer, as it is priced at a fraction of the cost of other OLED lamps currently available. aerelight is extremely energy efficient, drawing only 7W at maximum brightness, which is equivalent to 1,000 lux of illumination. OLED is a naturally diffuse, glare-free light source. The aerelight table lamp also features capacitive touch controls and a built?in wireless charging pad in the base that can charge all Qi compatible mobile phones. The team designed the lamp with the environment in mind, choosing to use only sustainable materials without any heavy metals. The OLED panel itself is free of toxic mercury and lasts the lifetime of the aerelight, about 20 years, entirely eliminating the need for throw?away light bulbs.
