RISING is based on a simple belief that Visual Communication can move people to think & act. The idea is to use Visual Communication to make our neighbourhoods & cities better. Designers already have the skills to shape & amplify communication. RISING aims to create content for learning & inspiration, encouraging more designers in India to initiate Projects for Change. Learning from Others is a growing collection of inspirational projects and case-studies presented online, to learn from how other designers have used content & design to Create Change. Incubated Projects under RISING help demonstrate challenges & opportunities of using Visual Communication design for Change by creating actual content for audiences. While a large percentage of projects are commissioned by for-profit clients, occasional projects in the development sector, made us think about leveraging the same skills of communicating and change-making to address social issues. #ProjectRising
