The supermarkets of 'Dansk Supermarked' will donate food to the Wefood store that cannot be sold because of false/wrong labeling, expired date(s) and/or damaged packaging. The produce - bread, dairy products, fruit and vegetables and other groceries - will be sold 50-70% cheaper than in the supermarkets. The Wefood store is run by volunteers and aims at reducing food waste, as well as spending the store's profits on addressing the world's hunger problems. The shop will open this spring, and there organization has already had a lot of inquiries from mainly young people, who wants to work as volunteers in the shop.
