Marioway is an innovative hands-free wheelchair technically based on Segway, designed to narrow the disability gap. On Marioway user can move in an upright position: this, thanks to hands freedom, drastically reduces physical and psychological barriers, helping social relationships with other not injured people. Project idea came to a social educator that has worked closely with disabled people for more than 20 years.
