The challenge is connect the self-made elements in the grooves and start to grow a tree with selected seeds and enhance children’s environmental awareness. Modular Tree will be used at the first point as a modeling set, where the forms, colors and seed will be selected. All the materials are biodegradable and respectful with the nature. The forms made of paper, flour and natural coloring disintegrate itself in contact with water, making it a perfect way to play with biodegradable materials. The packaging is at the same time the mould from the 4 basic geometrical forms: circle, triangle, square and hexagon. The packaging can be mounted and unmounted multiple times and is itself a challenge to the adults to put the elements back together. The components in Modular Tree can be replace anytime. The molds can be varied, the colors can be done at home with vegetables and the seeds can be harvest at outdoor. Modular Tree reinterpret the plant action with children.
