The Really Textile Tabletop™ is a low impact, circular, easy applicable textile waste product
How does it work?
The Textile Tabletop™ is a circular product for environment conscious office interiors. Kvadrat Really offers a plug and play product, finished or semi-finished in sizes fitting the industry norm for workspace tabletops. The characteristic of the material allows multiple usage and fits new and existing table frames. This allows our clients to underpin a no-waste concept. The Textile Tabletop™ is based on waste, but looks entirely new. It is a new low emission, upcycled textile and 100% circular product which is directly applicable with no need for additional surface and edge treatment.
The Textile Tabletop™ reduces Co2 emission from an average 50Co2Kg conventional tabletop to 12Co2Kg for a Textile Tabletop™. The binder used in the product is 20% second generation BICO plastic from waste streams and 10% Bio-binder from waste feed-stock. Produced in Denmark and are 100% sustainable powered. The production is based on mechanical recycling and production uses no water and dye stuff.
Why is it needed?

Owned by Kvadrat, Really offers a range of products based on textile waste, substituting other conventional materials frequently used in Furniture Industries Globally: Wood and wood composites. Targeting the furniture industry, which customers are big End Users and projects, we help save Co2 when implementing a key product. Conventional tabletops impact is an average 40 - 65 Co2 Kg and Textile Tabletops™ are 12 Co2Kg. The Textile Tabletop™ is based on primarily post-consumer textile waste 70%, making every product an action towards a waste free society.

Our product meets the industry’s highest standard for wear and tear, category 5 surface resistance. The colour range is subtle yet stating a visual narrative exploring the character of textiles. The sizes (1,8 cm x 80 x 120,140,160 and 180 cm) are ideal for office applications.
