Beep Beep!
detecting leakage and allergy during intravenous infusion for children and chemotherapy patients
Beep Beep! is a device that detects leakage and allergy during intravenous infusion through blood flow rate and protein concentration, effectively minimizing the risk of leakage in children and chemotherapy patients.
It is designed to be triangular with concave bottom, allowing the healthcare provider to fit firmly in front of the patient's injection site and use the FPW biomedical sensor to detect changes in protein concentration in the blood vessels where the drug leaks and produces an allergic reaction. In the meantime, the blood flow sensor is used to determine changes in blood flow rate when the infusion catheter or artificial blood vessel is dislodged and leaks.
Beep Beep! is a non-invasive test that can avoid the risk of wound infection and can be used for both inpatient and home chemotherapy. The APP allows healthcare professionals and patients to track the status of infusion sites, easing the burden on healthcare professionals.
