Currently the design education is not focused in the circular economy, from the top 10 industrial design programs only 1 mentions the circular economy. For this reason, this community was created, to promote the circular thinking in designers around the world, to provide a space where designers can practice and learn about the design for the circular economy through workshops and biweekly challenges that incorporate topics where design has direct influence such as: products, fashion, packaging, materials, and food. In this way, designers can learn about the circular economy, ideate and share solutions to make the system more circular, and at the same time resonate to make the design for the circular economy an important part of the conversation around the globe.
