BraSense
Sensory bra and app to monitor breast health
BraSense changes how breast cancer is diagnosed. All a patient has to do is wear a bra. The bra is fitted with Biosensors. The bra connects to your mobile and lets you schedule appointments with your doctors plus monitor any tumor growths.
BraSense has three main components, First is the part which detects the development of unrealized cells in the region and the second part being the transmitter which is connected to the app to give notification for a doctor check-up, and third being the app which stores the data and all the previous doctor visit's record. The most crucial part of this three-stage process in the designing stage of sensors to detect the change. BraSense uses Piezoelectric biosensors, which are able to detect even the slightest change in mass i.e clotting of cells or formation of cancer cells in the region. Sensors are placed inside the bra in a manner to cover the maximum surface area to be most accurate with results.
