Castellum lamp
Castellum lamp gradually lights up the night, inspired by the famous Grundtvigs church in Copenhagen
The CASTELLUM lamp is a decorative table lamp inspired by the church, Grundtvigs Kirke in Bispebjerg, Copenhagen. The church was built in memory of writer and pastor N.F.S Grundtvig, who is one of the most influential people in Danish history. His ideas have had a lasting impact within many areas of the country’s culture. The powder coated steel gives the table lamp a solid finish that represents strength and stability – just like castle gates and church portals. The white plastic profile allows the dimmable LED light inside to shine through. Drawing associations to the round window by the entrance of Gruntvigs Kirke, the gold-plated ball functions as the ON/OFF switch. Raising the ball towards the top will increase the light gradually. Place the lamp by your bed as a night lamp or use it as a decorative addition in any other room.
