This is a theoretical - practical investigation carried out in the Costume Design career at the University of San Buenaventura Cali. Starting from the problem of skin care focused on the wardrobe and how it can contribute through technologies to the care of brown skin in particular, and how the implementation of a native fruit of Valle del Cauca and its qualities can contribute to the development of technologies applied to skin care through clothing. Microencapsulation, laser cutting and hydrodistillation are taken as a practical approach to be physically implemented in the wardrobe developed for this project. The universe of beachwear clothing is the common thread of this investigation and it is the type of clothing that guides the statement of the problem and the search for multiple solutions. It will be possible to observe how the Colombian Pacific is the habitable context of this proposal and how the culture immersed in this place highlights key elements of the costumes made.
