Take The Piss
Getting New Zealand males to be proactive about getting STI checks.
Currently, in terms of the conversation about sexual health in New Zealand, there is no voice prompts for young New Zealand men to get regular check-ups or to find information about sexual health. This led me to the question of: How might human-centered design encourage and enable young New Zealand men to be more proactive about their sexual health and getting STI checks? The objectives of the question being, to make STI testing more commonplace and habitual; to adapt the current system and resources to make it easier and more accessible; creating a proactive rather than a reactive mindset and/or system for sexual health amongst males. Take The Piss is a system that takes the doctor out of the equation, making getting an STI check as easy as taking a leak.
