In this hyperconsumption society, the role of project and DESIGN is to represent and support an alternative to the disposable economy. Looking for a strategy capable of transforming our bad habits into good practices, FOO REUSE DESIGN was born in 2012, the brand that makes super-use its mission, using a design method capable of renewing the economic and instrumental value of objects, through their superior use, creating things from things. In search of a useful reuse, PLASTIC BOTTLES have been imagined as the starting material for new LAMPSHADES, used in any environment, they can have unusual shapes, they must be washable and resistant, declinable in various shapes and colors. The definition of the final product followed the shortest and most sustainable way, the one that made the process of transformation of the material simple, operable by anyone, with few aids. Local, global, accessible, ethical and sustainable production is envisaged.
