2/3 of women experience sexual dysfunction during the first year after childbirth. This is a common issue among couples, yet it is not openly discussed due to cultural taboos. Many healing practises currently used do not dignify the body, and instead imply it to be a broken machine. LENA is a healing kit that bridges the emotional relationship between women and their bodies through active, mindful gestures. It consists of tools that allow the hand gesture to remain in dialogue with the body. It is a celebration of the postpartum body as a part of this new phase of life.
