At the Medical University of Warsaw, a prototype of a special barrier tent was developed to protect doctors and paramedics from the coronavirus exhaled by Covid-19 patients. The tent can be used alongside personal protective equipment as additional protection in situations where medics are highly exposed to the coronavirus. The tent is designed to be used in hospitals during intubation and extubation and at transporting highly infectious patients between wards as well as in ambulances.
