Following a rapid product development strategy, in a span of seven days, the MADiT obtained a full face protection mask (faceshield) design that was endorsed by doctors from the General Hospital “Dr. Manuel Gea González”, who supported its ergonomic design and functionality as useful personal protective equipment to carry out their daily tasks comfortably and safely. The "GEA-MADiT" faceshield serves as a protective barrier for the entire face of health personnel, offering the possibility of a perfect fit to various face shapes, to cover these from the lower part of the chin to the upper part of the forehead, the sides of the face, as well as the eyes, nose and mouth, offering the level of protection necessary for use in consultation, care and even surgical settings. The material used to manufacture the Faceshield is PET-G, since it is a biosecure material and approved to develop this type of medical personal protective equipment.
