The Eco Driving Copilot is a complement to a vehicle dashboard that can be installed aftermarket to inform drivers about the efficiency of their driving style so that they can improve it. This information includes inefficient acceleration and braking, inefficient use of auxiliaries (lights, A/C), unnecessary use of engine at idle, uncomfortable driving (harsh turns, harsh stops, harsh braking, passing too fast through bumps), overspeed and dangerous approach to the front vehicle. It also shows cumulative indications about how I have been driving, including efficiency in brakings, harnessing the inertia of the vehicle and comfort.
