Reduce Adolescent maternal mortality and morbidity
• Offer Psychosocial support for adolescent mothers/parents • Equip beneficiary population with skills and knowledge to address Maternal Health challenges they face • Build capacity of adolescent mothers/parents to facilitate access to maternal health services • Build capacity of care givers, health workers and medical students to facilitate access to maternal health services • Advocate for favorable policies and services to support increased access to Maternal Health services for the beneficiary population. • Strengthen partnerships for Adolescent Maternal health programming All this contributing to: • Increased uptake of family planning services: Use of modern contraceptives was at 39%; Contraceptive Prevalence Rate is lowest amongst 15-19 year olds. • Increased uptake of Ante Natal and Post Natal Care services.
