BMD Watch
A watch for Blind Mute and Deaf (BMD)
BMD Watch This innovative thought was inspired from my experience with blind person, their difficulty in locating where they are and what time is it exactly unless they ask someone. When they travel, especially in developing countries where we hardly find Braille signage in public places. I started thinking what happens when a person is blind, mute and deaf? How does he know where he is and what time is it and if there is no one to answer. This motivated me to do a sensor device called BMD wristwatch, which serves the purpose. It will be a GPS enabled watch that updates time and place automatically. When a person places his palm on this wristwatch a sphere shaped buttons protrudes from the watch in Braille language form and enables him to sense the time. Similarly to sense the location he should press on switch button first and then place his palm on the watch. It is technically feasible with the existing technology.
