Vita Beads
Biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Less sludge produced effective bacteria filter through.
Design Concept: Vita is developed by the concept of eating vitamin tablets for health; i.e. triggering a virtuous circle of healthy ecosystem with a small dose, purifying the waters, & creating a healthy ecology. The modular Vita filters the dirty water that flows into the Vita and allowing effective bacteria to be dispersed in the water for further biodegradation.
How does it work: A rack installed at the top & a grit chamber at the bottom screen the dirt. The microbial Vita beads are embedded with many kinds of microorganisms, e.g. Bacillus can inhibit the fibrous algae that cause the eutrophication. The heterogeneous bacteria can consume organic pollutants; nitrifiers, denitrifiers & can return nitrogen gas back to the atmosphere. Green algae can absorb phosphorus & then serve as food for the water's ecosystem. These beads will act as the sources of microorganisms, constantly releasing young & vital microorganisms into the water environment and maintaining a good aquatic ecology.
