Kniterate
Democratizing fashion manufacturing with digital fabrication tools and a design exchange platform.
Kniterate is building a technology platform for on-demand designs to be produced by a network of manufacturers:
Our first product is an affordable and compact digital knitting machine for your workshop. It turns your digital designs into knitted garments automatically. We are simplifying the process of designing and making knitwear, bringing garment manufacturing back to our neighborhood.
It's also an enabling technology. The creation of widespread access to a new digital fabrication tool and its ease of use will attract a new generation of designers and creators that will develop new and unforeseen applications and products, revolutionizing fabricware and fashion.
We are also developing a cloud application to design fashion that allows anyone to create, share and customize designs and then produce them locally with our network of manufacturers (owners of Kniterate), which will transform the structure of the fashion industry.
