Diego Acosta is a multidisciplinary professional.
He has always been attracted to Industrial Design, but his family followed a long tradition of Health.
After thinking a lot about his future, he had the idea to unite these two seemingly different worlds.
So he graduated from Physiotherapy first and then continued his studies with Industrial Design to have the necessary knowledge to design any type of sanitary product, and thus to improve the lives of people who need it.

It´s an innovative self-adjusting anti-spastic orthosis by 3D printed millimeter adjustement system.
This innovative anti-spastic orthosis features a 3D printed bi-directional millimeter adjustment system designed by me.
Reduces recovery times by being self-adjusting to the needs of the patient at all times.
All the components are made by 3D printed.
It is very easy to install and doesn´t stimulate the area that we want to inhibit, the flexores of the fingers, because the traction system is in the back of the forearm.
Everything is made to measure each patient.
Something similar has never been used in an anti-spastic orthosis.
