Problem Solving When Landing Gear Collapse
The Safety System as The Problem Solving When a Plane's Landing Gear Collapse.
Airplane accidents caused by Landing Gear failure cause the aircraft must land roughly without the wheels which will even give rise sparks, therefore it is needed one or several friction dampers between the runway and the aircraft body.
The dampers will be installed in several points of the fuselage that have the most potential to rub against the runway, here we use a model of the Boeing 747 series 8 aircraft, where the dampers will be placed at 4 points, ie at the front near the Nose Landing Gear right in the angle of the aircraft body, then at the back is close to the Main Landing Gear which is at the rear corner of the aircraft body, and the third and fourth are at the bottom of the two engines that are close to the aircraft body. A synthetic rubber can be used for the material, but for the front it is still considered for using the rubber material because at high speeds the aircraft can slip, making it possible to use an emergency small wheel system as a backup.
