Clear water is luxury. Every water supply needs regular maintenance. For a monitoring of the state of drinking water pipelines the pipes always has to be cleared from the water. In some cases it means that a huge region can‘t be supplied during the analysis. After the maintenance the pipelines have to be cleaned several times with plenty of water. The robot "FLUX“ collects data from inside the drinking water pipeline and analyses the state of the pipes while providing drinking water. It moves with the flow and is coated with a silicon skin for the compliance with the hygiene standards. With "FLUX" the water supply doesn't have to be interrupted and a lot of water could be saved because no cleaning of the pipes is needed.
