The team will take part in the Open Class of the Monaco Solar Boat Challenge 2017 in Monaco with fifteen enthusiastic students and a high-tech solar powered boat. It’s about pushing the limits of physics to turn the Sun’s energy into speed and agility on the water, in the most efficient way. In the last ten years, this has resulted in lightweight, carbon boats with or without hydrofoils, high power electric motors and premium performance electronics. The aim is to give more publicity to modern sustainable technologies with their boat, in order to inspire people to contribute to a sustainable future.
