EVO
a video game engine for patients with neurological disorders
By challenging players to move through a virtual world, Evo activates the part of the brain that processes sensory information. Exercising this part of the brain has the potential to improve cognition, like problem solving, working memory, and self-regulation, and lessen symptoms of impairment. The game is on its way to becoming the first video game to be approved by the FDA as a clinically validated treatment.
