Bicycles are once again becoming a more and more popular way of getting around for China's urbanites thanks to the exploding popularity of a few bike-sharing apps and the omnipresent traffic jams in Chinese cities. The 7.6-kilometer long Xiamen Bicycle Skyway runs 5 meters above the road and just below a bus rapid transit line in downtown Xiamen. It's targeted at decreasing traffic congestion and promoting "green" forms of transportation in the city.
