Refarmed is in the circular business of building-integrated agriculture and aquaculture (BIA). By applying innovative green technologies we can integrate food production in buildings with high emissions of CO2, heat, water or waste while creating several economical and environmental benefits. Our low-impact concept of BIA is also a way of reducing food transportation, storage and packaging. The result is healthy, fresh, local produce, visible CSR, and lowered energy costs. The farm will be placed at the shopping center Field's in Copenhagen, Denmark covering 1.500m2. The farm will function as a learning and exporation center for green technology and innovative farming methods - also inviting local school kids to engage.
