OK-Fonden in collaboration with Odense city will create a neighbourhood specially designed for people with dementia. The neighbourhood is to host 200-300 people with dementia. The goal is to create a area that makes it possible for people to live independent lives with high level of quality of life despite their illness. The preliminary work is based on a co-creation of ground-breaking innovation of a social and psychical environment where people can flourish despite the dementia disease. The environment is to support well functioning relations between the residents and their families. By for Livet collaborates with the crowd-sourcing platform TagDel.dk where everyone can contribute with knowledge and inspiration for the project.
