Paraffin is a widely used fuel in households in many parts of the world, but is the cause of numerous household accidents and deaths among children. Based on recycled 2-liter beverage bottles, the preferred paraffin storage container of families in developing countries, Safer Paraffin Distribution System utilizes the existing means of paraffin distribution and packaging, while vastly improving safety and reducing spillage. A safety seal permanently closes a filled bottle and the seal can only be opened by screwing on the childproof pouring cap.
