The Danish municipality of Aarhus wanted to involve immigrants in their new integration policy process, but manoeuvring in political decisions is usually complex for novices. The project gives citizens from outside Denmark an opportunity to address their local politicians and empowers them to develop new policy ideas and submit concrete proposals. After consulting with people who have hands-on experience in presenting professionally prepared proposals, the new policy ideas are taken to leading politicians and published in a catalogue made available to the whole community.
