February accolades from the AI XPRIZE to Wired magazine features

Piñatex interiors to be part of new Skoda and Volkswagen SUV line. Skoda and VW will launch small SUVs made specifically for India, featuring alternative leathers made from fruits and vegetables. The Skoda Vision IN and VW Taigun are underpinned by a version of the group’s MQB-A0 small-car platform and were unveiled at this year's Auto Expo in Delhi. The Vision IN will go on sale in 2021, while the VW Taigun is one of four new SUVs the brand will launch in India over the next two years.

Iris.ai named a semifinalist for this year's IBM Watson AI XPRIZE. The AI XPRIZE, worth five million dollars, is a global competition supporting teams that demonstrate how humans can collaborate with powerful AI technologies to tackle the world’s grand challenges. Iris is one of 10 semifinalists, from six countries — winners of the prize will be announced in April.

Wefarm featured in Wired article on farming and machine learning. 'The Secret Ingredient for a Sustainable Food Supply: Machine Learning' explores a range of initiatives helping farmers optimise their operations and increase profitability. Wefarm, which connects farmers to the resources they need to be more successful, is one of several solutions picked to demonstrate the technology's potential.

Seaborg Technologies named in top Danish startups to watch for 2020. The list, put together by Berlingske, is selected by entrepreneurs and investors including Tommy Andersen, Chairman of the Entrepreneurs Panel; Martin Thorborg, CEO of Dinero: Chairman of the Danish Entrepreneurs Association Peter Kofler and Danske Bank's Head of Entrepreneurship, Growth and Impact, Klavs Hjort. The list also includes Index Award 2019 nominee, Corti.

Agribuddy featured on Japan's NHK World. The broadcast provides an overview of Agribuddy's daily activities and shows how the agricultural service "that relies on trust is spreading throughout Cambodia". Agribuddy also won a place in the ASEAN Rice Bowl Startup Awards, organised by New Entrepreneurs Foundation.
