Large metropolitan areas are plagued by smog, partly due to taxis, which often do not have the capacity to serve all potential passengers, such as older people and wheelchair users. This taxi prototype is a full carbon fiber structure with a hybrid engine. The air-cushioned low floors enable the taxi to operate as a standard taxi cab, disabled persons' transport vehicle, community transport for the elderly or as a small sight-seeing bus.
