Wireless LED Lamp
Recharged by manual power

Inhabitants of many remote villages in developing countries have no access to electricity and use kerosene-wick lamps instead. The Wireless LED Lamp is independent from any power supply. It runs exclusively on renewable energy, and is recharged by physically rotating a generator, similar to the old clock-winder system. Fuel-based lighting is expensive, inflammable and unhealthy, whereas LED technology is cheaper in the long term, clean and durable.
