SpaceSafe
Satellite visible shelters to locate refugees

Refugee camps are regularly attacked, forcing refugees to flee with their shelters. These scattered refugees are hard to locate, making it difficult to provide humanitarian aid. SpaceSafe shelters are tagged with a green color with a unique spectral signature, which is visible on satellite images. This enables humanitarian aid agencies to locate individual shelters previously distributed in refugee camps, which facilitates their planning of humanitarian aid efforts.
