This year not only marks the 20th anniversary of The Index Project but some significant changes to our foundation. Staying at the tip of the wave when it comes to Design to Improve Life, means we're always looking for new perspectives and vision. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to announce some exciting changes to our Board leadership.

To the Board of Directors, we welcome Board Professional and Senior Advisor Lisbet Thyge Frandsen. Lisbet has over 20 years of top-management experience within Grundfos, BDO Denmark and Rambøllcorporations and a proven track record of state-of-the-art leadership in the tech and engineering industry. She currently sits on the Boards of Lely Holding B.V. (Holland), Industriens Fond and NINE A/S, Industriens Fond and Lely Holding B.V. and is a first-mover in pursuing the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through sustainable business.

As part of the changes in our board, we’re thrilled to announce that current Board Vice Chair Kjersti Lund will take over as Chair of the Board.

Kjersti was recently Head of Designit Europe and part of Designit’s global leadership team, and responsible for driving the strategic direction and brand globally. Throughout her career, Kjersti has worked at the intersection of strategy and organisational transformation, including positions at Accenture, Nordea and Ørestad (formerly DONG energy). Currently Kjersti sits on the Board of Dorte Mandrup Arcitects and Nørrebro Bryghus Brewery. 

With these changes also come some heartfelt farewells. We say goodbye to Camilla Bredholt, Felicitas von Peter and Flemming Lindeløv, and our outgoing Chairman of the Board, Jens Wittrup Willumsen. 

Jens has been part of The Index Project’s Board for more than 14 years and has been integral to our development. He has guided two CEOs as a dedicated business partner and has been an avid supporter and a true friend to the organisation.
