Israeli Ronny Edry created a platform for Israelis and Iranians to communicate behind the curtain of war. He posted a photo of him and his daughter saying "Iranians, we will never bomb your country, we <3 you." He holds the Israeli flag in the photo. The response he got was massive. People from Israel posted photos with similar messages and then Iranians sent the message back. The uplifting project gave people a way to express their disagreement and dissociation with the military acts of their countries. People will hopefully think twice before negatively stereotyping Israelis and Iranians from now on.
