Prepaid Solar Energy
In communities without access to the electricity grid, Kingo provides prepaid solar energy.
Electricity coverage is correlational to human development. Today, 1.3billion people in the world live off-grid and use candles and kerosene for light and energy in their homes.
Kingo’s prepaid electricity service offers customers the flexibility to consume energy on an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Customers ONLY pay for what they use. There are NO installation fees and NO system maintenance costs.
We call our prepaid solar systems “kingos”. We install kingos in customer homes and employ a network of authorized solar credit distributors at a community level. Customers can purchase hourly, daily, weekly or monthly solar credit from a local shopkeeper or vender anytime they need electricity.
The benefits and freedoms gained from using a kingo include valuable monthly savings, bright light throughout the home, increased study time for children, kerosene free air in the home, easier food preparation at night or during early morning, increased connectivity and entertainment.
