Manta is a garbage bag that can be quickly inflated. It combines a ring-shaped inflatable rubber ring with a mesh bag. Divers take the Manta into the sea, cut discarded fishing nets from the coral reef and put them into the Manta. Then they can turn the inflation valve and the Manta will float up. On the surface of the sea, The crew on the mother ship will pick them up.

This design was created for the members of the environmental group "Underwater Dive Team". Manta is a solution to the problem of the overall inefficiency of the members of the "Underwater Dive Team" when they dive in the sea to clean the abandoned fish nets and waste because of the complicated and tedious tools they use.

With the goal of reducing the number of abandoned fishing nets on the seabed, we can use the tools currently owned by divers in Taiwan to salvage seabed garbage to improve and reduce the process time of collecting seabed garbage.
