Vo & Airro
Very first vortex airflow cooling device
How does it work?
The device uses a vortex system that delivers precise airflow where it is needed the most. The air travels farther than in conventional fans and offers a cool punch due to the kinetic energy retained.
Why is it needed?
Keeping people cool is warming up the planet.
A lot of solutions aimed at keeping people cool usually require a lot of energy and have been reliant on massive amounts of power to create conventional forms of airflow. Usually, a lot of this energy is wasted through user behavior, unguided airflow, and complex design, eventually leading to a vicious circle where trying to keep people cool is literally warming up our planet quite drastically - a key blind spot in today’s energy debate.
How does it improve life?
The future of cooling is one in which energy consumption is minimal and solutions are accessible to everyone.
This design uses a novel form of extremely efficient actuation to generate airflow and only requires 1 watt of power. This can drastically reduce the amount of energy required to keep people cool, cutting carbon emissions and allowing cooling to become a lot more cost-effective.
