PLUS Body Wash
PLUS Body Wash is a no-bottle, single-serve cleanser housed in a dissolvable sachet
How does it work?
PLUS Clean Body wash reinvents personal care—without water—for less water, less weight, and zero single-use plastic. It's an add water body cleanser that comes in a sachet that dissolves down the drain in the time it takes to get clean. Coming in different scents and formats, from a body wash dispenser to single-use body wash sheets, the dissolvable materials are made of wood pulp from responsibly managed FSC forests, and the ink is bio-renewable FDA approved. Once ready to use, the only condition is to wet the body, wash the sheet and work into a lather using hands.
Why is it needed?
Every year in the U.S., 42.1 billion bottles are used to ship products that contain over 70% water. Nowadays, it is imperative to reconsider where water is used and wasted. PLUS reinvents personal care, without water, for less waste. Their sustainability vision is focused on packaging to shipping. Only using FSC-certified products and recycled plastic, PLUS also travels light, lowering emissions in transportation by 80% vs liquid body wash.
How does it improve life?
PLUS, as a brand, they are a part of a sustainable body care movement, motivating all generations to reconsider what they consume and how it can impact the planet. As a company, they are also willing to lower emissions further at each step by offsetting 110% via verified Pachama forest improvement projects for what they can't reduce today, supporting The McCloud River project in California. Through sustainable practices, the landowners have preserved more forest and increased the amount of carbon stored by the property over time.
Conscientious that carbon offsets aren't a solution to climate change, verified offsets are one small step they can take in the right direction.
