PAMPRO: A NEW AGRICULTURAL HORIZON
An assembly composed of bamboo, which according to its size generate different spaces.
How does it work?
The module works as a solution to the lack of architectural options in the countryside, rural areas and the sustainability of these constructions in terms of the environment and available resources. The Module is designed around the idea of ??multiple individual spaces that, when combined, form a unit of something larger for users and their activities. Using simple joints between the bamboo, a receptacle of spaces was created that can be transformed in size and adapted to accommodate different activities and different users. All its basic parts are made of bamboo, but materials such as wooden planks, concrete and adobe can add more to the spaces depending on the needs.
Why is it needed?
As stated earlier, the lack of options to build valuable buildings in the rural areas of the world is very small, and the needs of the communities living in these areas are infinite. With this module we managed to create a compact, simple and efficient solution to allow these communities to carry out their activities while providing the landscape and nature that surrounds them, an object that has a valuable meaning in terms of vernacular construction and beauty in aesthetic terms. The design example is a learning center focused on agriculture, where the same module, with different heights and dimensions, manages to house classrooms, administrative areas, leisure areas and mechanical workshops.
How does it improve life?
In its simplicity, the design allows rural communities, and groups of people who live in the countryside and its elements, to have a decent space in which social coexistence and interactions between one another can flourish, without the construction and its construction materials or techniques affect the landscape and nature of the area.
