Via Vos
Viva Vos empowering deafblind people by opening paths while creating a new freedom.
Deafblindness a challenging condition that isolates people, generating issues like orientation, mobility, and interaction. A disabled person's daily needs and simple tasks, as identifying and using public bathrooms, are insurmountable given that signs are visual or auditory. Even a person's home presents a challenge in itself. A deafblind person will depend on a caregiver for most of their lives. Via Vos serves as a guide for public spaces through proximity sensors attached to the arms and chest vibrating whenever it detects obstacles to avoid collisions. The wristband uses machine learning technology that identifies and informs through vibration patterns places and services that are near by. The disabled person can accept or decline the information by navigating through its buttons. The user's response activates the guiding system, so the desired location can be reached, encouraging a sense of empowerment and control.
