'Don't tell me stories' arises from an initiative promoted by the Prodigioso Volcán Communication agency and the general information newsletter Kloshletter, which started a project in which almost 150 people have participated selflessly, including authors, illustrators, translators and editors, in mostly women. The work collects the true story of a hundred protagonists of all time, coming from all over the Spanish geography and with the most diverse professional careers. The idea was born from a group of journalists who realized that, despite the amount of literature on women that appeared in bookstores, there was no volume that collected Spanish talent from the past and present. First, they drew up a list of candidates, a task that was not easy because, as they moved away from the 20th century, those that had transcended were scarce. The same was true in fields such as science where, in many cases, his work had gone unnoticed.
